Welcome! Thank you for your interest in applying to the University of Chicago's Harris School of Public Policy. Below, you’ll find a list of degree and credential programs currently accepting applications.

How to select the right application

  • Degree Programs: One of our full-time or part-time masters programs that allow you to earn a degree after 1-2 years of study.
  • Credential Programs: One of our short-term, part-time credential programs that provide tangible skills to help you prepare for graduate school or advance professionally.
  • Non-Degree Programs: A variety of ways to become part of the UChicago community. Apply to the Harris Social Impact Fellowship to turn technical skills and evidence into social impact. Separately, the Harris Undergraduate Exchange Program and Non-Degree Visiting Student program are invitation-only; you should only select one of these programs if you have received an invitation.
  • Civic Leadership Academy: CLA is an in-person program for current Chicago/Cook County nonprofit or government professionals looking for leadership development.
Most applicants apply to only one program. If you're unsure which is the right fit, contact the relevant office listed at the bottom of this page before starting an application.
