Join us for an in-person discussion with William J. and Alicia Townsend Friedman Professor Christopher Berry and Research Professor Justin Marlowe for an opportunity to learn more about the work of the Center for Municipal Finance.

This event will feature a panel discussion with Chris Berry, Professor and Academic Director of the Harris School's Center for Municipal Finance, and Justin Marlowe, Research Professor and the Center's Associate Director. They will present findings from their research on how Chicago and many other localities are incorporating sustainability and equity into crucial decisions about collecting taxes, spending money, and planning for their financial futures.

This event is part of our Chicago Centered event series, which focuses on challenges facing the City of Chicago, and the work of University centers and institutes to propose solutions that support the community.

Those who attend the event will also have an opportunity to:
